Yum. . . Girl Scout cookies

Oh how I love Thin Mints. I have devoured, nearly single-handedly, a whole box over the past two days. Girl Scout Cookie time is a time to be looked forward to. Too bad it only comes once a year and I don’t have the freezer space to lay in a year’s supply all at once.

With some help from The Man in areas of style sheets, I have the new site/journal look up and online. I like it. It’s purty. My favorite part has to be the colored scroll bar. Never had one of those before. Ayup that thar web site shore is lookin’ mighty fine.

Thanksgiving tomorrow. I am looking forward to seeing my family. . . but really, I just want the food. Does anyone not love Thanksgiving food? It’s not the turkey that does it for me, it’s all the other yummy goodness that Grandma whips up. It’s just your standard fare: yams, mashed potatoes, corn, dressing, etc. . . but Grandma cooked it and that means it is 100x better than anything else I have ever tasted. It’s a family joke that Grandma always thinks something is wrong with everything she cooks, but I have never had a bad meal at that woman’s table. I guess if you cook meals for 60 or so years you learn something about how food should taste.

Got the Christmas tree up and decorated tonight. I am as bad as any department store out there. It’s not even December and my tree is up. Lord have mercy.

Well, I am going to go cuddle with my Man, he is kind of looking downtrodden tonight. I’ll leave you with a quote from one of my co-workers: “Sometimes she acts like a complete adult. Other times. . . ”

Yep, you guessed it, he was talking about me.
